Jesus Speaks About Little Children

When I was young, my mom told me that Jesus loves little children like me and that He hears our prayers very easily. I did not exactly know then what Jesus says about children and how much He truly loves children.
From the gospels we know that Jesus speaks about little children.

He said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these... And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them." (Mark 10:14-16)

Wow! These little children are very important in the eyes of Jesus. On the contrary, our society nowadays seem to neglect the value of children. Such neglect has been evident in the rising rate of violence against children.
