Image by freestone via FlickrAs a child I was taught about Jesus being the Son of God with emphasis on his being God. There was little information given about his being human.I would like you to join me in knowing the real Jesus by discovering his humanity.
What are the things that make him really 100% human? To me, he is indeed human for these simple evidences:
1. Jesus was born to a human family.
2. He was born to a woman named Mary and his father Joseph.
3. Jesus is a real historical figure (Josephus, a historian and orthodox Jew accounts Jesus' existence)
4. Like any man, Jesus’ soul grew in wisdom and in understanding (Luke 2:52).
5. Jesus humbled himself to all of the limitations of a man (Phil 2:5-8).
6. Jesus grew physically as well as mentally (Luke 2:52)
7. Jesus Had Human Emotions & Experiences.
8. As a man He was tempted in all things as we are but that He never sinned (Heb 4:15-16)
9. He physically died.
10. He is a teacher, great leader, story teller, and a friend.

Although Jesus is fully human, His full identity does not end there. He is not just a human being.
