Christmas is supposed to be celebrated by Christians alone. However, due to the commercialization of Christmas, it has become an event or season that gradually became or becoming part of human culture worldwide. So Christmas is no longer an exclusive celebration among Christians. Is there any thing wrong with that? Yes it's wrong in one sense because the real meaning of Christmas has become trivialized. No it's alright because this big event is able to capture the attention of all kinds of people worldwide. Besides, we do not know what's going on inside their minds as they celebrate Christmas.
Who then should celebrate Christmas? We Christians are supposed to be the role models in celebrating this season, because we are supposed to be the happiest beings on earth as we celebrate this season due to the fact God the Father has sent His only Son to buy us back from our slavery to sin. If we truly understand the reason for Jesus' birth, then we would celebrate Christmas in a special way that the non-Christians would surely notice. We Christians would then be the main celebrants of Christmas.
